About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
Take the lead in UX/UI design for corporate digital platforms and channels, ensuring seamless user experiences and visually appealing interfaces
Act as the expert advisor on UX/UI design within the Corporate Affairs function, providing guidance and recommendations to optimize user interactions and engagement
Collaborate closely with content owners and campaign teams to enhance digital experiences and align design with content strategies, creating prototypes, mockups, and demonstrations of new platform features and elements to effectively communicate design concepts and gather feedback
Translate the Novartis corporate brand identity and guidelines into cohesive and compelling designs for digital platforms, maintaining brand consistency throughout
Manage and enhance digital design systems, ensuring coordination and consistency across the enterprise, and driving the evolution and efficiency of design processes.
Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX/UI design and actively apply innovative approaches to push the boundaries of industry standards
Conduct regular competitor analysis and benchmarking to identify opportunities for design differentiation and ensure the corporate digital platforms stay ahead of industry trends
Act as a thought leader in the field of UX/UI design by actively participating in industry forums, conferences, and events, sharing insights and knowledge to contribute to the advancement of the industry as a whole
Establish strategic partnerships with external design agencies, industry experts, and thought leaders to leverage their expertise and collaborate on cutting-edge design projects
Drive continuous improvement through user research and usability testing, gathering feedback and insights from users to refine and enhance the UX/UI design strategies and ensure industry-leading experiences.
Essential Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, communications, marketing or digital media with 7-10 years of experience in design, communications or marketing
UX/UI design in a corporate or agency setting
Corporate brand awareness and application to digital design systems
Prototyping, wireframing, mockups and user flow analysis, including use of UX tools such as Figma, Adobe XD and Sketch
Collaboration with development teams to realise digital experiences
Fluent English language, other languages useful
Desirable Requirements
Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and techniques
