About the Role
Your responsibilities:
- Gain hands-on experience with state-of-the-art genomic technologies.
- Establish and optimise novel custom workflows for single cell RNA sequencing and spatial transcriptomics, including solutions for high-throughput barcoding experiments and BCR/TCR profiling.
- Collect, analyse, and document experimental data using an electronic lab book.
- Present protocols and results in internal group meetings.
- Work on impactful research projects in a collaborative environment.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Recent Bachelor or Master graduate (preferred) in biochemistry, molecular biology, biotechnology, life sciences, or related disciplines (graduation no longer than 1 year ago).
- Strong interest in genomics technologies and a passion for scientific research.
- Experience and enthusiasm for developing and refining experimental methods.
- Ability to independently perform experiments, evaluate data, and generate reports.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Fluent in English (written and oral); German/French is a plus.
- Good scientific and technical knowledge in genomic molecular biology technologies (e.g., molecular cloning, PCR, RNA DNA or RNA sequencing) desired.
