We are excited to offer a 3-month internship focused on the comprehensive analysis of data derived from our CAR-T cell programs. The intern will delve into the translation of preclinical findings to clinical settings, examining how discoveries in the lab can be effectively applied to patient care.
This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a cutting-edge research environment, working on impactful projects alongside experienced professionals. The intern will be exposed to the latest advancements in CAR-T cell therapy and translational modeling, all within a collaborative and supportive work culture.

Location: Campus Basel
Duration: 3 months
Start: as soon as possible

About the Role

Major accountabilities:

  • Explore the challenges and methodologies for translating preclinical data for CAR-T cell therapies into clinical applications.
  • Utilize industry-specific software and analytical tools to process and interpret data.
  • Gain hands-on experience in advanced data analysis techniques.
  • Work in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Present project outcomes to technical and non-technical audiences

Minimum Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant graduate program (e.g., Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Theoretical Physics).
  • General Modeling Skills: Expert level proficiency in core modeling fundamentals is required, including scripting languages (e.g., MATLAB, R), construction of ordinary differential equation (ODE) models, parameter estimation, data visualization, and foundational data science concepts.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Experience with data analysis software and tools.
  • Prior experience with the integration of computational modeling and biological concepts is desired.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Passion for translational research and its application to patient care.
  • Proficient in English
