About the Role
Responsibilities:
- Support the operational health deployment and lifecycle management of technology and/or platform solutions.
- Design and deploy technology solutions, serving as L4 support during major and critical incidents.
- Automate service deployments and management to enable modern delivery flows, including DevOps and SRE, with a focus on efficiency, flexibility, and speed at the lowest aggregate cost.
- Design and operate Private Cloud and Infrastructure Services within the Private Cloud Engineering team.
- Provide expert infrastructure support for the team-oriented Converged and Hyperconverged environment.
- Act as a virtualization technical expert for project teams and provide consultation to ensure the successful development of new solutions.
- Take ownership of individual projects to advance the IT infrastructure.
- Support and mentor colleagues.
- Continuously improve processes and propose automations and cloud integration initiatives.
- Contribute to best practices to improve overall performance.
- Negotiate technical infrastructure solutions with providers.
- Ensure stable compliance and security, measured by Availability Performance Capacity Metrics.
- Demonstrate responsiveness and recovery speed in handling critical incidents/issues.
- Drive automation-led Programmable Infrastructure and Platform Services.
Your experience:
- Deep knowledge of VMware, VSAN, Cisco LAN.
- Good knowledge of Nutanix, OpenShift, SAN Storage (Hitachi, Brocade).
- Proficiency in IT infrastructure scripting, monitoring, and operations tools.
- Strong understanding of hypervisor alternatives and hands-on experience.
- Familiarity with GxP and ability to create corporate documentation (AH, FS, DS, IQ, OQ).
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Proven experience in IT Infrastructure, Service Management, and Technology.
- Strong skills in development/deployment, project/vendor/risk management.
- Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS/Azure integration.
- Ability to work with SAN/LAN networks.
- Strong logical reasoning and analytical thinking skills.
- Hands-on experience with containers and integration with virtualization products.
